Minister welcomes investment in New Zealand

Minister of Communications, Hon Amy Adams, today welcomed the news that another hi-tech company was opening up new jobs in Wellington. Centrist Comment says this is precisely the sort of new hi-tech investment Wellington requires.

I agree with Centrist Comment. I envisage another four or five high tech companies starting up in New Zealand over the next two to three years. I think it is important that one should be based in Dunedin and one in Invercargill to improve employment statistics at those locations and because a lot of people from those places seem slightly more uneducated than those from other places. They should be big companies, employing at least a hundred people per company.
